The ipad is more mobile and versatile than a laptop/ pc, you can use it anywhere, almost everywhere. I use it on the sofa, on the table, in bed, on ships, trains - you get the gist. That being said, as i mentioned, i hardly ever used desktop version, because well, the ipad is so damn convenient :-) i guess that’s a thing you can get used to. I’ve used AD on the mac only a few times, but generally speaking it probably would be much faster than on the ipad, because you can use keyboard shortcuts to do many more things than you can on the ipad with pen and gestures.īesides having a larger canvas and more tools at a glance.Īlso, if you like drawing or tracing, the pen is much more intuitive to use than the mouse. pressure is not really an issue when working with vectors - if you use the pixel persona / raster graphics it is really nice. i can’t say that pencil is a must have, but it sure helps to be more precise. So I can say that I have gotten very comfortable with the Affinity Suite and it gives Adobe a good run for its money! Other then getting use to the idiosyncrasies of all three (and I am now use to it) the affinity Suite is the best contender that Adobe has ever had! and I say good! I have been working with the Designer & Photo for a year and Publisher also that time because it was in Beta but now it is a consumer product. ![]() I used the Adobe suite for about 10 years and when they dropped us web designers like a hot potato and continued to increase their subscription here in Australia I went for a hunt… and like you I came across the Affinity Suite.
